Hello UA-cam! Today we're tackling the myths about making wine kits that are... old. Really old. 4 years to be exact, for me anyway. Yes it can be done--and here we talk about it, at least at the onset of the project. No idea how this will turn out, but lets enjoy this together!

After just a few short years, my keezer / kegerator has died. Great. Thanks 2020. Ugh. I have no idea what happened and would love your input if you have any ideas or suggestions. Unless you guys have any ideas on what to do or have dealt with this type of a problem with your home kegerator before, I suppose it is time to recycle this bad boy for parts and scrap the rest. Right as I'm wrapping ...

That rickety table had me on the edge of my seat... you could have put the bucket on the floor to pressed the lid down... also, you can make the bentonite in a small clear glass, so you can see the bottom and make sure it's completely dissolved, I use a mini whisk... :)

Drill with a wire brush head, the 1/2in or 3/4 one. No need for a second pass to rough up the edges

Mine went together well and did not leak. After the first year I decided to redo the Teflon tape on the male threads at the bottom of the conical where ball valve assembly screws onto it. 10 wraps and it was leaking very little,, took all night to see water at the top of the ball valve assembly. So I wrapped it again, dropped an O-ring onto the lip of the ball valve assembly where the very end of the conical would meet there, then painted the conical male threads with beeswax that I melted in a water bath with a pan. Wrapped 2 more layers over the wax, screwed it on tight and, It stopped leaking

Which tool(s) do you ude for grinding and shaping the foam surface? I have been using a regular Electric drill to shape and sort of grind the surface of the raw white styrofoam (the kind that consist of small “balls”) but it takes a really long time. Would love a good tip for other tools! 🔫

Cloudiness in beer is usually trub mixed in your beer. Trub is all of the solids in beer that hopefully eventually sink to the bottom and the beer above siphoned off. Trub has a ton of vitamin B. Too much. Trub also contains most of the poop from the yeast animals which pee alcohol.

Lmao. i used to brew years back but I like basic lagers. When ou ask people about that it was literally like I was announcing that I planed on launching for mars with a case of dynamite under the whisky barrel capsule and not to worry cause I had a plastic gallon pail with some spray foam for protection. Anyway I wasn't a fan of hoppy beers which is all anyone made so I quit making it. a month ago in random you tube watching I ran across lager by pressure brewing. I don't know who was more excited, the wife or I. But we gathered up the equipment from multiple sources including a 12 hour drive for used equipment we were still missing at well over 50 % off including co2 tank and a mostly built and all parts purchased keezer. The wife has been with me every step of the way including brewing. While folks may not think women can brew They would have a world of hurt trying to compete with my wife in the kitchen cooking baking or canning so I doubt she'll have any problem brewing if she puts even half the effort in as she does in the other 3. I imagine some women suck in the kitchen due to feminism or disinterest, but the women I know are rockstars in the kitchen so I doubt they would be presented any challenges brewing beer. or running a brewery. Matter of fact the weird way they come up with kitchen masterpieces from a man's point of view would probably teach the men all about different ways of skinning a cat road to even greater beers and success. I feel bad for guys with such ignorance cause women are so different they are truly a natural and equal partner by default if feminism hasn't screwed them up. As an equal partner with a valued opinion the shy is truly the limit. Over 30 ears of marriage speaking here and I sure as hell am no kiss ass simp. a two headed snake will kill itself, but damn it. It basic and simple good management to throw the rains to your wife in her strengths and ride shotgun and give her every bit of credit and respect for the damned job. If a dude thinks a woman needs a sex change to brew I figure he should get some help to see if he can aqcuire a refund on that lobotomy. then throw the reigns permanently to their wife if they have one cause they aren't mentally capable of even sound management any longer.

Latex Paint .. also what some would call Monster Mud... (drywall mud/slurry). Then the Latex paint... Gesso is just glue... Fiberglass would be great but very Expensive... Even... light slurry of cement would work.. Walmart Exterior is the BEST Paint ever... I've used it for over 30 years.

I don’t trust these things.how can it be accurate if it’s on the outside?the ambient room temp is causing too much discrepancy.the real temp of the brew is on the inside of the bucket.just sayin
